Fotomill is an expert at creating that sort of feeling in his images. I've shot with him a number of times but this is still one of my favourites: frozen-amaranth.livejournal.com/94720.html

Fotomill always works best with colour, managing to turn them up and yet keep the images dreamy.

As for the stones, I think they were mostly standing - but after years of standing one needs a lie down ;)

Were the stones manipulated in or were you in Avebury for this shoot? You look wonderful :)

the stones are all really there! These were taken at Wayland's Smithy, a Neolithic burial chamber. The only one that is digital is the last - that was taken in a studio!

These are so gorgeous. You are a lucky lady being able to travel to all these magical places.

I particularly like the third one in the grass. Funny, we were discussing whether to visit Wayland's Smithy last week, was it very muddy to get to?

the day we went it was dry and hadn't been raining so wasn't for us. But there was a long path that you needed to walk down to get to it - which may turn to mud in wet weather

thank you, I had read that mud was an issue in wet months. Good job you didn't get your beautiful dress dirty.
