it's times like this that i am glad i can fly and perch on tree branches, high above the flooded streets. my feet get horribly cold in those conditions.

i wonder how ho-oh and that lion pokemon are faring.

Humph, my fur is matted and disgusting, but since finding me in the water in HGSS doesn't harm me I am still living, at least.

yes. from what i have gathered, he and one of his kitty... babies?... are fire types. fire and water do not mix.

i think he is a he, anyway. his cat pokemon call him mother, which confuses me. but i have seen him refer to himself as a he, so that is what i will call him.

Ah yes, of course. I am... surprised that a Pokemon of his caliber would be here. Pleasantly surprised, but still shocked nonetheless.

That is a little strange. Perhaps they see to him as only a mother figure because they lack a mother? [That's the only explanation she can think of!]
