I guess after setting up shop on Facebook, it's been hard for me to find the urge to post on here. Which is kind of a shame, actually, because while the 'ol book has it's uses (which are numerous), it seems that most people don't really use/read the "Notes" section, which would be the local equivalent of a blog or livejournal or what have you.

Actually, there's a way to set up Facebook so it posts all your LJ posts to your FB profile. In fact I think it does it automatically if you're logged into FB when you post... but you have to wait a few seconds on the confirmation screen for the AJAX to work.

Sometimes I feel you on the deleting action, but then I remember those times when I look back on really old posts and be like "Oh yeah! I remember that! That was (awesome)/(funny)/(horrible)!" And I'm glad I have something to remind me of those because apparently my brain is not up to the task.

And then there's my secret hope that after I die someone will find my LiveJournal and discover my genius, like a digital Emily Dickinson or something...
