The Good

The weather
& much needed (because it had been way too long) long distance phone calls:
Last night, to Jen - we talked about our boys and everything else,
trying to remember the past 10 months;
And about an hour ago, one randomly from Dipto - there was a crazy delay
that made conversation a bit weird, but it was good nonetheless.

I just found out this morning.

Rest in peace, Pope John Paul II (May 18, 1920 - April 2, 2005).

I went to Catholic elementary school and everything, yet I am just learning about this man's great legacy. I wish I had known earlier. Sure, I'm a cafeteria Catholic, but John Paul II is undoubtedly admirable. He reached out to everyone.

(25) Sidewalks of New York is about the interlocking lives and loves of six people. It's done in a documentary style, which is effective. It's funny, it's realistic and there's even a nice song by Pete Yorn sung by one of the main characters. Edward Burns wrote, directed and stars in this. Remembering the 25thMorning: I met Adam at the GO Station, we walked to Jackson and sat on the usual bench. The stores weren't open, but the mall was - and oddly enough, it was FULL of crazy people and they were all passing by us.
