skyped with noel yesterday...as usual, i tend to think alot after our conversations lol
she mentioned that one of her friends is really passionate about accounting, and that she can really see God working in that field. that friend's in one of the big 4, so basically she's on that road that i never managed to get on.

u know what, queer person, i think u r over thinking this. ever since i decided there is no god-god, there is only happiness, the creative power of the universe, peace and fellowship, life has gotten a lot more chipper. i still believe in god, but hardly one with the human characteristics most religions ascribe to it. what if they just had to use something relatable to describe the infinite circulating energy of the universe ( ... )

Hey eden, it's been awhile since I checked your blog (you gave the link to me two years ago, i think :) ) I just wanted to say I can totally relate to your post... last time we talked I was still in nursing, and since then I've realized it was not a career for me. So I've been kind of at loose ends since then, wondering if it really was a good idea to switch to and Arts degree when there's not a whole lot of jobs for BAs. Anyways, I know the pressure to be all career-focused, promote yourself and advance your career is tough and seems so miserable and useless sometimes. Hope you're feeling a little better now, and that God's with you :)

thanks harma :) yes things are definitely different since the time i wrote this entry and i'm at a much better place now. not sure if i told you but i'm working at king's as their international students coordinator and i love it :) i know i'm meant to be doing this, at least at this point in my life! i'm glad you are happy with where you are too, switching over to arts! maybe we can catch up in edmonton sometime :)
