I have crabs. 5 of them to be exact. They are small fiddler crabs.
They are in a 10 gallon tank, 1/3 filled with:
-Large bonsai (plastic) they can climb it well)
-False log. (hollow)
-Red and black rocks
-Mini Filter
-Fake seaweed, electric green.
All but the rocks and filter are half submerged so they can come up to wave and posture and fight.

I didn't know that they could have different dominant claws. Thaty's interesting. . . do the left ahnded ones have the advantage over right handed ones, then? And why does Admiral Whitey have a white back?

And the dominant claw is the right claw first, and if they hurt or have their other claw removed, the second claw grows in size. Some of them also just begin with the off claw as the large one. It offers no real advantage as size appears to be the deciding factor.
Admiral's back is white because much like humans, their shells are pigmented, and it can happen that pigmentation does not occur 100%. Think of it like carapace vitiligo. :D
Sun's the coolest to watch as he is the smallest, yet, appears to be the best climber, so he can claim anywhere faster
