It's uncomfortably hot today, and darn it, it's only February. This house must be one of the warmest in the neighborhood, as this area is known for being on the cooler side... it's gotta be in the 90s up in my bedroom. Yuck. Sometimes I really wish I lived in Minnesota somewhere ( Read more... )

I was watching the Pro Bowl and practically drooling over how balmy, breezy and generally BEAUTIFUL it looks today. Why did DH and I decide to the rain capital of the world when we could be in HAWAII now - hot stickiness and all? :)

You live in Hawaii, right? LOL at the Minnesota comment. Don't know if you've ever lived in Minnesota- I spent one summer there and was more than ready to come screaming back to Southern California. The mere mention of a MINUS 80 degree morning was too much to stomach.

Heh. Okay, okay, I've never lived in Minnesota. In fact, I've only visited briefly, and it was definitely during the summer months... I just remember it being pleasantly cool during July.

And to be honest, while I lived in Washington I did complain nonstop during the winters about how I was going to freeze to death, it was so cold.

But still. It's damn hot here. ;)
