I definitely don't know how women can do this for years. I'm only in my first cycle and every time I go in to the clinic and they say, "just a few more days, come back in three days, for sure you'll be ready then" it drives me crazy.

I don't expect things to work this cycle. But I'm not sure how many cycles of this I can go through.

I'm so sorry you're going through this.

It's a real roller-coaster. I think, eventually, some people adopt a pessimistic, laissez-faire attitude, while others go for a "try harder" mentality. I encourage you to take a proactive stance--push for the next level to be sooner rather than later. And don't feel guilty if you need to take a break.

You are your own health advocate; never forget that.

With each failure, I understand less and less how women (no offense meant to the men) can do this for years, despite their driving need for a child.

I get it, myself... I'd probably try everything. The failures are definitely hard. But giving up is hard too...

I'm sorry about this month. I pray next month goes better for you (and everyone else on this comm).
