You thought she would get better because it is inconceivable for such a giver of life and love to be anything other than radiantly alive. I thought she would get better for that reason as well. She gave her love, humor, radiance and acceptance unselfishly to everyone she met. Even people she only met once or twice were touched by her. I wish you luck in your healing process from this tragic and unfair death. I hope she did not die in vain and have been trying to practice "being like Ali" in my day-to-day life
