Sadly not this time; I'll be working the day shift on the 19th (and collecting Meg from her return from Singapore that day) and the night shift starting on the 20th. Will be thinking of you, though, and hoping to read about all the fun you had afterwards.

We're not rushing straight home this year from Connotations, as it's Dawn's wedding the week afterward, so we'll be heading to Manchester instead. I'm not sure what's happening in the gap between Connotations and wedding and wedding and home - I will have some free time, but I'm also relying on parental units for transport. I'll get in touch with you closer to the date and let you know our schedule!

I'd forgotten about talk like a pirate day. I might let that influence what I wear at the rather, er, interesting party I'll be at that weekend. :-)

Pirates and fetishwear and other exciting things go together *very* well. :D I don't think my party'll be quite so exciting in that way, more in a pass-the-parcel and drinking lots of alcohol way, but you never know. I hope you enjoy the one you're off to. :)
