I loved the imagery that came from this sentence, Selena smiles and it's sharp, hurts across her teeth. It just seems to me that this one phrase describes the entire feeling in this story. There is something akin to joy at being reunited, but that in and of itself is pain. It's physical and emotional pain.

I thought you did wonderfully on this. Thank you for sharing it.
