Intercom and its wonders

Today i managed to spend £175 on my bike. well not specifically the bike, more an accessory for the bike. i got an intercom system, it allows me to talk to a pillion if they have the headset in their helmet. or and the more important part of it: i can have my mp3 player hooked in to get nice stereo sound, no more annoying earphones, its done ( Read more... )

Amusing in that my mum suggested my dad get the same thing for them when they go touring Europe in the summer.

He said no.

hummn, i think i know why,. perhaps so he doesn't have to listen to her all the time??

i do like it so far, its quite cool, looking forward to being able to chat to my dad whilst we are going to thruxton, rather than waiting till traffic lights and whatever to communicate.

biking can get rather lonely. i'd like to get a radio wotsit at some point. they're clearly quite handy. wouldn't get a voice-activated one though. i don't know about you, but i talk to myself loads when i'm riding (usually about crap drivers). wouldn't want someone else to hear my mumblings.

you can buy a push to talk attachment for it, especially useful if u have a pillion and want to not be clogging the transmissions by talking to each other and transmitting that, but yes they are very handy, nice little toys. my bank balance doesn't love me anymore

they are definately worth it!

the sound quality is perfect, the level isn't too high and the functionality is brilliant
