Nick, u warned me, but for some reason i took the job anyway, FUCK. i worked over 4 hours today with no break/lunch, it's so understaffed and everbody needs my help and i had to improv my way along 'cause it was my first day... i hope i can last a month 'till school.

yeah, well... don't take crap from them. Promise yourself that you'll have 10 minutes of break every 2 hours. I think it's your legal right, but even if it's not, do it. They won't fire you, YOU'RE the one with the leverage here, not them. You don't have to be so blatant with them, but by all means, walk off if they're being bitches. Again, you won't get fired. And you'll be getting paid. It might mean that the unenlightened people you work with who DON'T realize that they should take a fucking stand and not put up with bullshit, dislike you, think you're lazt etc, but again, you won't get fired. They'll talk to you, say "this is how we do things around here, you can't do this with the time clock, and you can't leave a customer without help" and that's where they're wrong. They don't do their jobs, so you can't do yours. Again, you won't get fired. The amount of bullshit you yourself can get away with is amazing, so take them for everything they've got.
