I think you're right, jealousy and self-centeredness have a lot to do w/ it.
I'm adding something to it, too. Why is it that its usually just girls who are so dramatized?
Its funny, last year for her I-search Ms.O did her's on how girls bully as compared to guys and w/ girl is all psychological. Very true.

I agree. It's like, we always say boys are stupid, but in reality, they're sometimes my favorite. I mean, you need girl friends, but some of my best friends are guys cause they dont seem to have the desire to absolutely ruin the life of a person that stole their best friend/girl friend, etc. haha.

Yeah, i don't know quite what it is that makes them just let drama stuff go, but they have it, and its good.
