So completely charming! I really like your Mirai characterization: she's mature for her age in terms of being responsible and appreciating her family, but she's also confused by the unspoken rules of high school dating. And Evan and Mirai's interaction has a very natural feeling: they're not best friends, the age difference is rather awkward, but they share that understanding of the pressures of their skating world.

I love this so much! :D Mirai seems very much like Mirai, which is something I feel like I haven't seen a lot of fic authors capture, and I love Evan trying to make her feel better and failing all over the place and how no one gets when he's joking. It's perfect.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked my Mirai characterisation -- mostly my thoughts on her consist of, "OH GOD I LOVE HER", so I'm glad something coherent rose out of that. :D
