Seriously, author, you are amazing and I love you! This is so fantastic for so many reasons! Firstly, prom fic! And hatesex! And all the awesome little details about their characterization, like how Evan is not a very good dancer and how he hates having cats staring at him, and about how Johnny just manages to bring people together - amazing! Also that Evan was so paranoid and kept just seeing flickers of Johnny around, thinking he was going crazy - poor Evan! And their dynamic was just fabulous; the idea that Johnny knew what Evan wanted before Evan did, and that that was somehow a victory in and of itself - I absolutely love the idea that absolutely everything is a competition between them, even that.
