I went to see Mom and Dad out at Fort Snelling yesterday with Cheryl and the kids.  Miranda brought them a picture she'd made and a sprig of liliac ("That was Grandma's favorite!"), and it was Ian's first time out there.

I have many liberal friends (you know who you are) with whom I frequently debate issues, and most often we end up agreeing to disagree - without being disagreeable.  I happen to support "traditional marriage" (to use the terminology presented here), but I agree with civil unions.  This isn't meant to be a debate seed about those stances.
