Part of my menus are in French now. My post was defaulting to a community I rarely post to. I can't seem to post without picking a community. The only other options is a community represented by an icon of red splotches (or is that meant to be some sort of help icon

I can see this. I don't know what's up with the language shift. I haven't experienced one, and I haven't heard of anyone else who has.
