LJ informs me that I haven't posted for 18 weeks. Bad FSR. Very, very bad. Now I'm afraid Santa will leave me off his list this year. Actually, I'm probably on one of his lists. Just the wrong one. So to atone, I'm stopping by before the holiday season gets completely away from us, to say hello to all my friends, and to wish you a happy ( Read more... )

Thank you. Wilbur is now a year and a half old (same age as my cat, Claude) and is a total sweetheart...well-mannered, playful, very affectionate and sweet-tempered. I've never had a canine friend before but I am just crazy about this dog.
I'd gladly slip him some filet mignon, but his "parents" are very strict. ;) Of course, that's why his such a good dog. I'm just the aunt who spoils him rotten.

Aww - adorable! Both the painting and its muse :-)

I especially love the round tummy - the real Wilbur's and the accurate depiction of it in your painting. So cute!

Merry Christmas to you, FSR, and thanks for checking in AND sharing your neighborhood Christmas card!

Hey Colleen!
Nice to see you again. Yup, I love that puppy tummy, too. He's quite outgrown it, now.
Merry Christmas!

Even Claude likes Wilbur. Well, from a distance. Claude goes downstairs when Wilbur visits, but only because the epic game of chase me-chase me which would result if they shared space would trash the house. But through the screendoor this summer? Fast friends.
Or, interspecies freakitude, depending on your point of view.

I am glad to see you here and in BC from time to time because I often think of you, Socks and Claude.

Wilbur is a class act and your painting is a real tribute to his character. Thank you for sharing

Thanks. I'm enjoying all aspects of the season...made latkes last week and moving on to rugelach tomorrow. Along with trimming the tree, of course. ;)
