Sad news from Charleston.

I've posted this on BC, but in case you haven't gotten over there, bookczuk reports that Sirroy's Mam passed away. He'll be getting on a plane back to the UK Friday at noon. Please keep him in your thoughts.

I'm just hoping that he isn't feeling bad that he wasn't there - I'm sure his Mam would have wanted him to be with his friends right now.

That's a good thought, z. I was with antof9 the night my mother died. I'd driven to Connecticut to meet her halfway at a diner (she was in NY for work) and had the most wonderful time. I drove home, went to bed, and in the middle of the night the phone rang with the news. I was immediately grateful to ant for that short respite of utter joy before things got so hard.
I hope Sirroy can hang onto a similar peace.
