I had a lovely intro thing all typed out, it was even halfway decent. And then the internet farted and I lost it. And I don't feel like trying to make it sound lucid again. Argh. Sooo...straight to the FST.

Sorata to Arashi. I don't really know why, but I've always thought this was the perfect Sorashi song.

I don't want another pretty face/I don't want just anyone to hold
Sorata really does love Arashi, he didn't just choose her randomly.

Someone's gonna make good/Cross his stupid heart/Make good and finally make you/Proud of your boy
One big reason Sorata doesn't really mind the whole "dying for the woman he loves" bit is that he doesn't want to see another woman he cares about cry - the only thing he remembers about his mother was her crying when the monks took him away to live on Mt. Koya.
(And yes, I may be stretching a little bit, but I really. love. this. song.)
4.Ke Ai Nu Ren(Adorable Girl) - Jay Chou (Mirror)
Everyday I think and think and think of you/This sweetness I feel makes me begin to believe in destiny/I thank gravity for letting me meet you
Sorata falls pretty hard for Arashi, pretty quick.

I'm willing to break myself/To shake this hell from everything I touch/I'm willing to bleed for days my...reds and grays/So you don't hurt so much
Again, the whole dying-for-Arashi thing.

At least not out loud/I won't say I'm in love
And finally, a song from Arashi's perspective. Around volume 14 or so, she's finally starting to realize Sorata's not just kidding around when he says he loves her, but how does she feel, exactly...?

like you're trying to fight gravity/on a planet that insists/that love is like falling/and falling is like this
A little back-and-forth between Sorata and Arashi. She finally admits what she feels, and...well, let's just say that scene in volume 17 in general. (If we're going with the anime, continue the "theme" of the song right through Arashi's betrayal)

Even the best fall down sometimes/Even the wrong words seem to rhyme/Out of the doubt that fills my mind/I somehow find, you and I collide
The morning after and what follows. Making it work. Again, a bit of back-and-forth, with certain lines sounding like each character would say them.
(Firmly in anime-verse now, considering that the manga hasn't gotten this far one way or the other yet....)
9.Zui Hou De Zhan Yi(Final Battle) - Jay Chou (Mirror)
I'll stay with you the last distance/Its your face falling into my arms/You slowly fall asleep and I cant wake you up/The tears in the trench burst it open
While the song itself is more about an actual military battle, the general feeling is the same. Arashi holds Sorata as he dies.

And I would cry 1000 more/If that's what it takes/To sail you home
And just when she realized that hey, she does love him, he dies for her. That's gotta make you feel just a little guilty. Basically, Arashi missing Sorata and wishing she could bring him back.

Why is this so late?!
I had a fairly complete song list on my old computer...problem is, it was in my (AOL, and thus only on the harddrive) email, and that computer tanked early in January. Then I didn't get a new computer until late January/early February. Then I went on vacation for a week. Life, in general.

Sorry, can't help you. It takes upwards of 20 minutes to upload a song on my oh-so-slow connection, I can't be re-uploading every five minutes. If someone with a faster connection wouldn't mind reuploading go ahead, but, well...better download quickly?
