No one reads FSU_Noles anymore, but whatever.
For sale here is a Fender M 80 solid state guitar amplifier. It's the nice gray carpeted version with all the original red knobs. The numbers on the back for the electrically inclined: 120 v / ~60 hz / 300 watts.
In addition to looking hot and being fuzzy, this amp has
a lot of great features:
- clean channel with treble, mid and bass adjustments
- overdrive channel with gain, contour and presence adjustments
- reverb (it's a pretty nice reverb, too)
- 2 inputs
- foot switch input for channel selection
- effects loop inputs
- headphone jack
- external speaker jack
The headphone jack is is great, you don't always see them on amps this size. This means you can practice quiet as a mouse in your apartment. But this amp can also be LOUD LOUD LOUD! You will be both the quietest and the loudest guitarist on the block. I played through this at Club Downunder and filled up the room quite nicely.
Why am I getting rid of such a fabulous amp? I've had it for years and it's never done me wrong, I paid $300 for it back in the day. But I don't play as the main guitarist in a band anymore, so I don't need MASSIVE BALLS. I do need money, however. I'd like $250 but I'm willing to take offers. I figure buying online with shipping would be about $50, and the footswitch goes for about $40, so buying it local will save you some money. Also, if you would like to bring your guitar of choice over and try this baby out, you most definitely can do so before purchase.
