postings...where are the postings? Oh, and ...does chance of getting in improve on year... I didn't try out as soprano freshman year because I heard it would be a joke trying to get in, but I"d love to at least try for sophomore. :)

of course you can try out as a soprano. It's hard freshmen year, but your sophomore year is a lot easier. Fenton usually doesn't approve on a freshman soprano, but he definately lets sophomores in.

what about a freshman trying out as a mezzo?

If you're a mezzo, you're are put in as an alto...In most choirs, the alto sound is based off of the mezzo soprano sound. Dr. Fenton tends to let Freshmen in if he wants to use them as an alto.
