When did I become so grouchy?

I mean, just when did it happen?

Sometimes, I find myself saying grouchy things in response to other people's posts and wonder afterward, "What the hell?"

Could I be getting old?

Hey, Frank,

Two things: one, from what I've seen lately, it's been a stressful time in your life, with your mother-in-law, the nephews, even the scary successes you have been experiencing :-). Cut yourself some slack!

Two, I find you to be insightful and thoughtful and I take what you say seriously. There has been a time or two that I have been surprised by a sharpness in your response to something I have said... and it has ALWAYS caused me to re-look at what I do mean and how I do say things, and this has been positive for me.

So. My couple cents.

I also have to take a second look at the way I say things sometimes. Especially when I start pontificating. (Which I've been doing since about the age of eight, so I'm not sure there's a cure for it.)
