Friends and family gathered this morning to say farewell to Rose Kreiswirth. The Scrabble community was well represented by Joel and Larry Sherman (whom I had picked up at the train station), Marjorie Schoneboom, Joe and Laura Edley, Paul Avrin, Jan Dixon (who had driven all the way up from Delaware just to attend), and onetime tourney players
