Curiosity

Is curiosity a normal human trait (for survival?) or learned (for grades?) and how does it relate to wanting understanding... how did we get from 'there's that big white thing in the sky' to 'what is the moon and how did it get there?'

Curiosity is an innate characteristic of all animals that rely on learned behavior. Those that rely totally on instinct don't have any - a frog, even a young new frog, will never play, never experiment with its environment, never try anything different, because everything it needs to know for survival is already packed in its brain ( ... )
