Ouch! That's a big chunk of change to be out (although I can't blame her for wanting to be there for him. Pushme-Pullyou at it's best/worst, huh?). At least letting you know what's going on would be considerate of her (or any of them). ::sigh::

I hope swimming with turtles makes you feel better (or are you trying to *become* a turtle? Because no. Turtles have trouble using a keyboard, what with flippers and all, so you're not allowed to change into a turtle. Unless it's a turtle with fingers, but that would just be strange). ;-)

I got your card today, thank you...it speaks of another letter, but I haven't gotten anything else from you in just ages. You said a friend in Ohio asked about sending me letters; I'm always glad to get cards and letters. What I used to do; since I like jigsaw puzzles so much; was to take a card with a nice picture on it...get 2 of the same card and cut one up, so you have a puzzle to send to someone for the price of a card. Also, it fits on those little bedside tables...:D. I'd love to get something like that.
pt is still extremely painful but I'm living through it, so I guess that's a good thing. Tomorrow, they will stand me up again; I expect I will be crying before the day is out.

I had written a letter about 3-4 days before the card. What is with this crazy mail??? Oh well. I will let Victoria (Victoria Booth) know and give her your address. She's sort of homebound herself. I go to a jigsaw puzzle website called "Jigidi" which is free and a lot of fun. I'll have to see about making some paper ones too. You hang tough; you will get through this!

I have jigidi, too, and Jigzone; but I haven't figured out how to move the pieces using this laptop, so, mostly, I'm leaving them alone.

Yikes. Given the circumstances, an update or two seems like a reasonable consideration given the sudden cancellation.

Glad to hear you're having some pleasant water adventures... I've always wanted to have the chance to do some of that. myself - maybe someday I'll learn if my chronic fatigue can handle it.

Pacing is everything for me and my fibro/whatever. And of course it keeps changing on me as well. For a long time I was not able to have two active days in a row; now I'm better but maybe I don't do as much anyhow. I spend maybe two hours 'out' on a walk and sometimes pay for it for two days, sometimes just need a nap later. You can get better as time goes by and you learn what works for you, and I'm hoping that's the way it goes.
