Have been hard at work on light and shadow. This attempt, inspired by the first chapter of the exceptionally fine Remus fic
"Disaster: See Also, Remus J Lupin, Love-Life Of" by the incomparable
ladybracknell, is just about right.
Artists: Please help! I really like the nifty way I've layered the colors of the shadow (the intrinsic color of the object, the reflected color of the environment, the complement of the light...) but it all shows up icky when I convert the psd to a jpeg. Any tips for (a)keeping the colors when I convert it for the web or (b)choosing colors that work for lower quality files? I have been careful to avoid the colors that photoshop says are not websafe but I think when I layer them at low opacity it just gets too complex. Help please! *begs*
