I used under armor heat gear boxerjocks. They worked well, unless I was running around. Then it flopped all over the place. In that event use a jockstrap. Compression underwear that you can change regularly will work. You want to look for sweat wicking and breathable. Try to wear pants that are breathable too, skinny jeans aren't really good for being breathable. I recently discovered that merino wool underwear with some elastic in them are awesome for breathability and comfort, but they're also super expensive. Sometimes on sale at REI.
