Looking at all my Blackstone's editions, my sister found one thing odd about their size. She noted that criminal law is the most famous aspect of the law - in literature, film and popular culture it is the foremost in people's minds - and yet, out of the five books of statutes I now own, Criminal Law is by far the smallest, being about a third the size of the largest book.

The title of the largest? Somewhat inevitably, European Community Legislation.

Contract Law is the biggest part of the Oxford course I believe, and also where the biggest money is.

The title of my largest book is "Tort Law: Text and Materials". (Lunney and Oliphant). The authors' names are particularly pleasing!
