Disturbing signs...
Anyone who does any driving around has likely seen the signs that a lot of churches put up with semi-cutesy inspirational type settings. Most of them are reasonable enough.
I saw one today, though, that REALLY left me scratching my head and vaguely disturbed. It read: "Forgive your enemies. It messes with their minds."
Alrightythen.
There are plenty of reasons to forgive one's enemies. I won't start a sermon on that here and now.
But to mess with their minds??
That's not forgiving with a kind spirit and with good intent.
Sheesh. And from a church.
