Update on doctors visit
I had my visit Tuesday AM and have started on Metformin. So far, so good. I'm on Metformin 500mg 3 times daily. The first day I just took one dose. No problem. The next day I went up to twice daily... today I'll finish my last twice daily dose and I will go to the full 3 times a day dose in the AM. Dementia, obesity, and getting comfortable in my own skin
I truly love "my" residents. A substantial part of my population as a nurse practitioner includes individuals with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia. I had an interesting encounter with one of said residents Friday this week. This resident, a female, is sort of a grandmotherly type.
