Seasonal Viewing

It's a horrible dark, wet morning, and I'm putting off going to the shops by sitting here organising my Christmas viewing.  I've just realised that, added together they come to a good bit more than 12 hours, not counting anything actually on the television ( Read more... )

I always watch the Queen's Speech--I tell people look, when she announces the aliens have landed and she's abdicating in favour of a Cylon you're really really going to miss seeing it.

If you haven't checked out Frozen you might want to--I normally don't like that kind of thing, and there was a lot in it I didn't have much patience for, but on the whole I'm glad I took the recommendation of my animator friend (who LOVED it) and went to see it last week.

I am amazed at how little there is on the telly over Christmas that I want to watch. I am away until the 28th so probably won't watch much live. I do like to listen to the Queen's speech, more out of tradition than anything else. I have the skybox set to record Last Tango in Halifax (Christmas Eve) Dr Who, the Pemberley thing, Emma (although I have it on dvd somewhere), Downton Bloody Abbey (I am a fan ;)) and Call The Midwife's Christmas special.

Hope you have a lovely Christmas {hugs}.

Toby and I watched Rare Exports last night! It showed up on Netflix as a new addition, and we read the description, shrugged, and watched it. We'd both totally forgotten that we'd seen the original short film years ago, so we came to it new. Anyway, we both enjoyed it.
