As Loran woke Riley up and got him ready to leave all he could think about was how much John was misunderstanding him. It's not that he wants to use his powers to hurt another being, he wants to use them to help the ones he couldn't help before...save the teammates he couldn't save before. He does understand the danger, really, but he can't help but think about the good things he could do.

While in the care he just stared blankly out the window.
