I may not being going to school anymore....well not S.A.I.C at any rate. My dad says we'll end up paying a quarter million and that even with my Grandpa's help we still won't be able to get a large enough loan. But we're going to try? If it's this expensive I shouldn't go. I mean, I don't even really really want the degree...I just want to study

i just graduated from SAIC last may and i've had many good and bitter times with the school.
i don't mean to rain on your parade, SAIC has a high acceptance rate because it has a very high freshmen drop-out rate (almost 70% i believe!). a lot of freshmen drop out because of the structure of the classes and the "extreme independence" style. Also alot of them didn't have the thick skin to accept harsh critism (but constructive!) & biased-repsonds from their fellow students and professors. i agree it's a great place to grow as an artist and it definitly did for me as long you're very committed to it and maybe it'll be worth the money. :) i'm sure you have, but you should look into scholarship that SAIC offers (there's even a free ride one!).
anyways, best of luck and i hope you get to go, you seem to know what to expect from SAIC.
