Last night I worked an overnight until 7am, taking the train home to arrive at about 9am, to sleep less than 3 hours (through construction work outside), to then go to a job interview. Now this would have been okay if I had slept decently sometime yesterday, but I didn't. Turned out that the interview was a group interview, ending in a written test

i actually liked the overnight shift at mcdonalds. kind of. it would've been better if i was working with people i actually talked to. but i got to make muffins. and they sure smelled good!
i guess they're just trying to weed out the really really desperate people. i figure that they probably have a really crappy work environment and so they have a high turnover rate and are looking only for people who are so desperate it's unlikely they'll ever quit, even if part of their job is to hit themselves over the head for customer entertainment. be thankful you're not that desperate. :)

it was basically just a speed test, but still, it's a supermarket, they are not as cool as they think
