Apparently the spinal fluid was to test for meningitis. They're pumping him full of antibiotics anyway, And in the end the test came back negative, but the blood did test positive for an infection of some sort. They said they'll probably never know what

Aww man, glad it wasn't positive. I hope they both come home soon! But I'd venture to say that your days of feeling useless will be sorely missed about 2 days into everyone being home!! :)
