While looking thru images.google.com for pictures of the war in Iraq (new idea for a painting), I came across these and I'm fucking horrified.

It's times like these I'm disgusted by many of my fellow humans.

I got them from a clipart site and they were under "patriotic images"

I get what you're saying, and I've seen those posters before and I find them just as disturbing.

While I'm sure there are people out there who are sickened by my left leanings, I will say one thing. I don't believe in racism or oppression, and those posters scream both of those things. I really believe neither of those should ever be tolerated, whether you're left or right.

So I don't think I'm ever going to be as bad as the people who produce, or appreciate those photos, because I believe in the worth of my fellow human beings and want to strive for a world where posters like this won't be tolerated, not because they show a "side" per se, but because they're ignorant and harmful.

We're smarter, it's as simple as that :D
