Was reading your 90% thread, and didn't want to post this there, but Christianity is really about 30% of world religions.

This is from 1998, I just took a few moments to find it, but I'm sure it hasn't changed much.

Atheists: 2.5%; Non-religious (including agnostic): 12.8
But we're working on it. ;)

Ack! The number I have hear repeatedly is 10% or under. Hmm.. I find this new information both intriguing and frightening at the same time!

Man I would be amazed to read about the spread of religions throughout the world. Do you know of a study / book / essay that concentrates on that.

I'd really like to see how Christianity spread in a timeline sort of frame.

Thanks for the heads up Stephen. I always love to be corrected so I can get my facts straight! Still 70% is still an awfully large number.

You're right, it is a large number, for the Christian's God to be continually sending all those people to hell all the time. (All those people that He supposedly loves).

well hell is clearly now overcrowded and must be sending its minions elsewhere, which accounts for the increasing number of assholes now inhabiting the planet.
