i just got my acceptance letter from volunteers for peace. i'm gonna be in mexico from january 4th until the end of februrary. i'm kind of nervous, but i'm glad i have 6 and half months to prepare. i need to get better at spanish and talk to people who know what they are doing. oh yea and work enough to pay for it. probably a couple thousand in all

wooo hoo way to go naomi. good luck with being independent/alone. i have decided it's overrated. i thought i had this whole going away from home thing covered because i've done it many summers. but i have been so homesick lately!! i don't want to leave the bay area for a while, i think. i guess i am a baby. but you are not, you are pretty fucking amazing and good at doing things on your own. i beleive in you, babycakes. i think it's something i really like about all my current friends, that they all have direction/goals/etc and are doing awesome shit and really motivating everyone else to make/do cool shit. man i am glad i am not dating will anymore, he was really depresing in that respect. woah i am rambling, i just woke up from a nap. but the point is, i can't wait to get home and make more art and music (!!) and relax. i love you baby.

thanx clare. i miss you a lot but i'm glad you're making cool art. also i'm glad that when you come back you'll be doing and making good things. yesterday was ran into this girl on the street who was like "i wish i had friends like you guys when i was 16." and yes, that is the truth. except we actually have friends like this. party on.
