I saw him at the Warfield a few months ago... It was a heartstopping show. He had a good three hour set, like shows SHOULD be.
Not only is he extremly talented, but incredibly grateful to his fans. He's confident in his talent, but not to the point of arrogance, (see: Yngwie Malmsteen).
If you're a Satriani fan, you should check out Buckethead. Watching him play is a trip... He has a different sound than Satraini, but is just as talented.
