Let me make my self a little clearer, first by saying that I am in fact not an anarchist, but an anarcho-socialist. With that I can't really say, as far as a large scale context would apply, in any examples of anarchy working. It has never been applied, to the best of my knowledge, in such a way as to see if it could work on a large scale. Just as socialism or communism has never been thus applied. Though throughout the United States and Europe there are many collective houses and farms where people work together for mutual benefit without any sort of authoritarian establishment to keep order and govern. In such cases it would seem as though anarchy works great. But alas I am sure you were looking for specific examples which sadly I cannot give.
