Hello friends! We're accepting any and all questions about the plot and its characters/backstory, and any general worldbuilding/processing/what made you decide to do this mods!! sort of questions here. Also questions about Jalen and Meric's ~passionate tryst~. FEEL FREE.

As we said back when we began this storyline, this plot is something that is running separately to the established Camp plot! If you would like to know where the Director and co are during this, you will have to ask Biz, I am sure she has a potentially hilarious answer for you. So in as far as it relates, it doesn't. It's a new page in the Camp book, as it were.

Is the carnival still here?

The carnival is definitely still here. It has:

- a ferris wheel
- a haunted house
- the tunnel of love
- a pirate ship (one of those swingy rides that goes back and forth)
- an elevator/tower ride (TOWER OF TERROR . . .)
- several booths and tents and whatnot.

It's on the outskirts of camp, wherever that may be in your mind since everyone has a different vision of camp (for the plot, I used a map Comic had awesomely worked up about a year ago, but everyone sees it differently and that's chill!). Definitely out of the way of the normal camp staples, but visible! And still here.

Some people cope with crises in a healthy manner. Jalen, on the other hand, went on a two week long bender after his home planet was devoured by the World Eater.

I've got a few questions:

1) Since OCs are allowed during the fourth wall event, and the mods are playing OCs outside of just Camp event posts (in mingle posts and so on), are OCs going to become appable?
2) Will there be an opportunity to threaten the carnival or the mod OCs with physical violence? A few of my characters are pretty interested in just strapping them down and forcing them to talk.
3) ...I don't know how to phrase this without sounding really rude, but. How many acts is this plot going to be, and how long are the acts? I have my own ideas for events and I don't want to step on plotty toes.

1) No, OCs are not going to become appable at this juncture! Camp actually has a long history of its NPCs playing in a variety of posts, but that slowed down as Biz got busier, since she controls the vast majority of the Camp staff. OC applications are not completely off the table, but right now there are no plans to have OC applications become a regular part of Camp proper

I'd like to know the ins and outs of the relationship between Jalen and Erin, if that's cool!

Jalen's side!

The general backstory is that the crew picked Jalen up on Vodaspei when Erin was out looking for a doctor that could tend to an Eriophor. Hijinks ensued! That was a move that ultimately saved Jalen's life because it got him off of Vodaspei (which was a planet hit by the World Eater), although he immediately went on to have his epic two week-long bender. Erin was the one who slapped him out of it ultimately, making that the second time she's saved his life. To say that Jalen is indebted to her is an understatement.

And she's impressed him! He's quite enamoured by her, something that is exceedingly obvious. Jalen's well aware of how obvious his crush for the captain is, though, and doesn't really address it. It's a thing. It's there. Let's move on. At least, he was zen about this because they're in this situation where there's really no time for, you know, that. Which is why he raised his eyebrow a lot at some things! Their relationship is complicated in that . . . Jalen likes her, but he's much more wary of the military
