well that isn't fair, you HAD to join the Hitler youth in Germany, he was probably just too young to know what to do. And he did desert after only a little while. I mean, not that I'm super thrilled about this guy, but if he's the pope then its fair to assume he's been devoutly catholic his whole life and all catholics have always been opposed to the nazis because the promoted atheism. There's plenty of other things to be worried about here.
