for the longest time, i couldn't figure out why 90% of my friends were guys. i just assumed that i would be one of those girls that hates other girls. but i think i was just around the type of girls that really annoy me (skanky, dumb, attention-starved, try too hard, etc). but lately i've been spending more time with different crowds and, woah, ( Read more... )

however i still find i don't end up being friends with a lot of girls.

it's true, it can be hard to honestly be happy for another girl if there is something you don't like about her. but i find that the non-skanky girls are easier to love. most jealousy revovles around male-attention and as long as you have the "friends come first rule" it's easier to trust them.

Oh, I'm with you on that. I mean, you can't hang out with a guy and say "You know, sometimes I have really bad cramps, and sometimes they're not that big of a deal. Does that ever happen to you?" or "WOW. Uberhot piece of meat, 3 o'clock." (Well, depending on the guy.)

Don't forget bubble baths. Bubble baths are the BOMB.

Isn't it great to discover people of the same sex who you can be friends with and NOT have to sleep with ! :) It's good to have friends, no matter the gender. Now you can have a real girls night out!

AHAHA i remember the commercial for dream phone. "IT'S TED!"- "I really like you!"

One time my friends and I were superbly bored, and so we decided to play some girly boardgame (belonging to my friend's sister). I can't remember which one it was, but it involved dares. I remember that i got a dare to "eat a pickle and mustard sandwich" and thought... that isn't disgusting.. that sounds delicious.
So i ate one, and the rest of my friends tried one too. Then we realized that these dares were meant to gross out 8-year-old girls, so we had to modify the dares a bit.
