Leo walked in with his normal smile, he had once again ditched the gang to relax up on the roof. More and more he found that spot enjoyable in it's slience something Leo found he could never get enough of.

As he brushed away some of his bangs and part of his eartails behind his ear. With a slight pause Leo glanced over at Kano, of cousre he had see him around- never really talked to anyone. '...should I talk to him...?' Another sigh passed through his lips and approuched his classmate.

Smoothly Leo walked over to Kano and plastered a smile on his face, leaning onto the desk he spoke.

"Hey is that a good book your reading?"

Kano looked up from his book to see who was talking to him. "Yes, it is." he replied with a calm voice.

"really?" Leo titled his head to the side to glance at the title. " What is it called?"

"The Sword of Shannara, great fantasy book." Kano said as he held up the book.

Kiti walked in, rather more subdued than usual. She was worried about Andy, who for some reason had elected not to go home this morning, and had shown up for History. That coupled with the odd e-mails from Maddie, who she hadn't been able to get hold of last night, plus the fact that people seemed to be avoiding her today, probably because of this morning and not knowing whether Kazuya would view her as a threat or not.

She glanced at Kano noticing that he was on a different book, but didn't have enough room left in her thoughts to really think about it.

She smiled rather mechanically, "Hi." she greeted him before sitting in her own desk.

Amanda came skipping in, tripped over her own feet and ended up crashing into a desk, blinking, she smiled and got back up. She gave a wave to Kiti, then looked around. She made a mental note of the kid she'd not yet met and avoided that area, since Leo is talking to him. She watched out of the corner of her eye, made a note that the kid seemed pretty weak, and therefore wouldn't be able to hurt Leo, and then turned front, starting to hum.

Kiti looked up at the sound of a crash, and smiled when she saw Amanda waving. Apparently she was ok.

"That girl has got to be one giant bruise by now." she thought.

Amanda sighed, getting bored quickly, since class has yet to start and not everyone was there yet. Going over to Kiti, she smiled. "Hi!"

Yuhji walked into class and saw Amanda. He rolled his eyes and tried to blend in with the rest of the students there trying to keep her from seeing him.

Kira walked in behind Yuhji and noted Leo was talking to someone so he just moved to his desk to get ready for class.

Amanda made a mental note of his attempt to blend in, she bit back an amused smile, but decided to play along and pretend she didn't see him.

Leo smiled at Kano again though it seemed a bit empty and half hearted. Leo partly knew what it was like to be an 'out cast' so to speak, thats why he confronted Kira at the starting of the year. Also Leo was a bit lonely and was tossed right into the lion's den known as high school.

Even if he was apart of Kazuya high school gang, to him that was 2nd in life. If you were in Leo's shoes you would look at it like a part time job, a game for rookies. Not that Leo would admit that to anyone but few could understand the game the adults play while their children played pretend.

"Great! Come on there is a free seat right in front of Kira's you can sit in." Of cousre Leo already started to walk towards Kira not looking to see if Kano was following or not.

Kira noticed Leo walking over and smiled. "Hey Leo who is your friend?" he asked politely.

Leo gave a little cough and smile, he was about to say Kano's name but forgot what it was. With a nervous glup and a tug of his caller he glanced over at Kano to introduce himself. Sometimes Leo does not think at all its really a sad sight.
