Hey Kristen, G'day! That's a typical greeting from older folks, not so much for students. Uhh.. I don't believe they say "a hoy" but it sounds like it would fit in. Hahaha. Talk to ya soon!

Katie - Greetings from Minnesota. We are having a warmer than usual winter. It is a sunny balmy -15 degrees C. (5 degrees F). There is no open water here. Cars, trucks and snowmobiles drive over the lake by my office. Very little snow however so virtually no snowboarding.
Your pictures warm us all, and we can use that.
Aunt Ona and I drove to see cousin John at a basketball game last saturday- 240 miles each way. Those are probably comfortable distances for australians but made a long day for we old guys. Uncle TE

Hey Uncle Ted- A balmy -15 C eh?.. I'm jealous! j/k! I just don't know what good that kind of weather is without snow and a ski resort. I'm glad you like the pics. Oh yeah- 480 miles? Piece of cake for Aussies ;)
