So after getting distracted (possibly by the attempted coup in the US), I finally remembered to check if the New Year's special had arrived on Amazon by now. It has \o/! Phew! I was getting worried I'd need to wait until the DVD got out.
Huh, didn't expect US hotel guy with political ambitions to come back. And he's in cahoots with a UK polititian, how very real life. And so is the prime-minister relay race.

Does nobody on Earth remember the Dalek attacks? Especially in the UK people should be freaked out seeing these "drones" again.
Jo gets exterminated - how very satisfying to see a PM actually face the consequences of their corruption. How infuriating (but very real life again) that there are no consequences for Robertson though.
I'm so glad Ryan and Graham get to leave alive/voluntarily/unharmed!
