Loki 1x03 Lamentis

Wait, Sylvie was just hanging out with C-20? This reminds me of Pietro under Agatha's mind-control quizzing Wanda, ouch. And it's in that scene that they dare to add a Peter lookalike in the background.
So what was C-20's "it's real" about? Was she reminding herself that she's back in the real world now or was is she trying to hold on to the memory she got back? I suspect the latter.

Yes, Sylvie in the TVA! I had already expected her to have gone there in the previous episode. What, so was bombing the Sacred Timeline not the goal, but only a diversion to get as many teams as possible out of the TVA?

I can't believe that Loki means it. He's brought his daggers! Come on, Sylvie is you!
"You lack vision", nooo, Loki, that's what the bad guy says! ...Although, since he's fighting Sylvie, that makes him the bad guy.
Sylvie threatening a version of herself is exciting.

A quarry! How very Doctor Who, heee.

Sounds like Loki doesn't want to admit he saved Sylvie because deep down he's a good guy.

While the banter between them is fun, I just want them to understand each other already. Mostly I need Loki to understand Sylvie.

Loki says he learned magic from Frigga, and Sylvie asks about her. Finally they're bonding!
Meh, Loki heteronormatively asks Sylvie about a having a boyfriend. I mean, you could argue that Loki might have a thing for guys and thus suspects his female Variant to be the same. But until I see Marvel actually doing such a thing, I won't trust them to do it. A BIT OF BOTH! OMG, I didn't see that coming. I also didn't expect it to mean that much to me. It actually made me cry and I had to pause the ep for a few minutes.
Huh, bringing up stealing these people's only hope of survival. But I guess since there are going to be no survivors anyway, it's okay to do it. Unless it were to turn out to be a stable timeloop, that the only reason there were no survivors was because Loki & Sylvie had always been the reason for the evacuation ship not making it.

Loki entertaining the train XD. Even in Asgardian! "Another! *smashes glass*" :oD
"You're drunk." - "No, I'm full." Ha, in German "full" can mean "drunk". I wonder if it's the same in Nordic languages.
Sylvie calls the TVA "omniscient fascists". See, I knew she's right in whatever her plan is. Whoa, she's been running all her life, how depressing. But at least that explains why she's going by an alias and why she's blonde. Although... the TVA knows that alias. Maybe it's another Variant, so Sylvie doesn't know the TVA knows?
That whole "love is a dagger" speech - poor baby!

Is Loki seriously still thinking that the TVA can't be beaten? Or does he like them for giving him a chance to be what seems to be good and because of that he wants to ruin Sylvie's plan or dissuade her from it?

I like Loki's thinking. They don't know what destroyed the Ark, so maybe they can get there before it happens, prevent its destruction, get off the moon before the planet crashes into it (btw, I really didn't need to get reminded of that creepy Zelda game), which would then create a Nexus Event and get them hauled off to the TVA. Sylvie could break free of the agents and continue her plan. Sounds good to me! Sylvie doesn't sound convinced, but I guess she thinks trying beats just sitting there waiting to die.

Whoa, C-20 is 100s of years old! And she didn't always work for the TVA! So the speculations about recruiting Variants are true! Huh, makes me wonder if we're dealing with a Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes thing where the recruits just slowly forget about their former lives. Nah, more likely someone at the TVA can make you forget. Ooh, I think this solves the mystery of what the point of the court is and what "reset" in relation to Variants means (okay, this idea clashes with Loki being uncooperative, but why else would it be called "resetting" instead of "pruning"): I guess if someone's cooperative, their sentence for breaking the timeline is to fix it by working for the TVA. For all time. Always.

Oof, that neverending shot was exhausting. I did like Loki telekinetically saving them from the falling tower though. Wow, I had no idea he could move things much bigger than that robotic vacuum cleaner or whatever that was in the previous episode.
What an intruiging ending (though we haven't even resolved the previous ep's cliffhanger)!
