Author categories:
Best Author This is an overall award for excellence in Buffy/Faith fanfic. Any Fuffy writer is eligible for this award. (4)
Best New Author Authors nominated for this category cannot have been writing Fuffy for more than 12 months prior to the
nominations period (ie: they cannot have any stories published prior to 9/03/10).
Fiction categories (all nominated stories must be finished, unless otherwise specified):
Best Characterization: Buffy Summers (3)
Best Characterization: Faith Lehane (2)
Best Characterization: Supporting Character This award is for outstanding characterization for any existing Buffyverse character other than Buffy or Faith. Original characters have their owncategory and should not be considered here.
Biggest Big Bad for the best villain
Best Unfinished Fic Stories nominated to this category must still be ongoing (ie: updated within the last 5 months). There is another category for fic that is likely to remain unfinished. (1)
The Anointed One Award For tiny fics that pack a punch (Best drabble/ficlet from 1-999 words) (2)
The Hands in New Places Award for the best NC-17 fic (3)
Best Stand Alone (3)
Best Fluffy Fic for the best funny, fluffy, or lighthearted fic (3)
Best Drama (2)
Best Angst (2)
Best Romance (1)
The Principal Bob Flutie Memorial Award for the best fic set during the series run (1)
The Cleveland Hellmouth Award for the best post-Chosen fic (3)
Best Story Arc for the best overall plot. AU stories are eligible for this category. (3)
The Tara Maclay Memorial Award for the best permanently unfinished fic that left us wanting more. Stories nominated
to this category cannot have been updated within the past five months.
Fandom Classic Award for the best story completed prior to September 03, 2010. Any story over 1,000 words is eligible, except the winners from last year. (1)
Story of the Year Since this is our first round of awards, all completed stories are eligible at this point. (1)
Best Non-Fuffy Fic by a Fuffy writer This category is for gen fic without pairings, stories which feature B/F only as a
background pairing, or those which pair one or both of the slayers with other characters.
Scene Categories (Scenes from unfinished/ongoing fics are eligible for this category. Fic must have been updated within the last five months):
